REV. DANIEL LIU

Lead Pastor

Daniel Liu was born and raised in Staten Island, New York. He has 3 older sisters and his parents are from Canton and Hong Kong. He attended church in Brooklyn, at the 59th street Lutheran Brethren Church growing up and then Rutgers Community Christian Church later on.

After graduating from Rutgers University in Mechanical and Aerospace Engineering, Dan worked for the Department of the Army for four years before pursuing God's call on his life at Westminster Theological Seminary. Dan helped to start a college ministry at Rutgers University for a local Chinese church, and now works with the Young Adults at Crossroads Community Church.

Dan and his wife Jennifer, an obstetric nurse at a local hospital, are blessed with three young daughters.

REV. ROBERT MAEDER

Youth Pastor

Rob was raised in Cape Town, South Africa and Silver Spring, MD. His father is a brilliant bioinformaticist and his mother is a magnificent music teacher. He is proud of his only sister Liz, who is an astute architect.

Rob studied Philosophy and Political Sciences at the University of Maryland, College Park, receiving a double major in those fields. During college, Rob was involved with KCM, IVCF, Manna, Navs, and RUF teaching Bible studies for IVCF and KCM (Korean Campus Ministry). A week after graduating he and Suzanne Maeder were joined together in marriage. Suzanne has worked as an excellent English teacher since graduating. Rob and Suzanne have been blessed with three children.

Rob received his MDiv from Reformed Theological Seminary, Washington DC, after four years, and was ordained as Assistant Pastor of Crossroads in September 2014. During these four years, he interned at Wallace PCA as a youth director. He began at Crossroads almost immediately after super-storm Sandy hit in 2012.
