CHILDREN'S MINISTRY
Jesus invited children to come to Him (Luke 18:16, Matthew 19:14), implying that they could know Him and have a place in God’s Kingdom. Our purpose in Children’s Ministries at Crossroads is twofold. First, working with parents, we lead children to know Jesus as their Savior and friend. Second, we encourage the development of Christian character in their lives.
NURSERY
We provide a safe and nurturing nursery for infants through 4 year old children each Sunday during the sermon. Children are cared for exclusively by approved and screened nursery volunteers, who also teach a short lesson for toddlers and preschoolers. Additionally, separate nursing and cry rooms are available, where parents can still remotely participate during worship.
SUNDAY SCHOOL
During our weekly worship services, children join the entire congregation for the beginning of our liturgy. Following the call to worship and some musical worship, our screened and trained volunteer teachers invest in our Pre-K through Grade 5 children with a Biblically-rooted, age-appropriate Sunday School curriculum.
VACATION BIBLE SCHOOL
Each summer, we host a weeklong Vacation Bible School (VBS). Our camp includes Bible lessons, crafts, snacks, games, and music for children from four years old, through rising sixth graders. Our caring camp volunteers guide children through an incredibly fun yet rewarding experience. Registration beings in March.
