MEDITATION
Leviticus 26:11–13
I will make my dwelling among you, and my soul
shall not abhor you. And I will walk among you and will
be your God, and you shall be my people. I am the Lord your God, who brought you out of the land of Egypt, that you should not
be their slaves. And I have broken the bars of your yoke and made you walk erect.
CALL TO WORSHIP
Psalm 48:9–14
Leader:
We have thought on your steadfast love, O
God,
in the midst of your temple.
All:
As your name, O God,
so
your praise reaches to the ends of the earth.
Your right hand is filled with righteousness.
Leader:
Let
Mount Zion be glad!
Let the daughters of Judah
rejoice
because of your judgments!
All:
Walk about Zion, go around
her,
number her towers,
consider well her ramparts,
go through her
citadels,
that you may tell the next
generation
that this is God,
our God forever and ever.
He will guide us
forever.
CORPORATE PRAYER + LORD'S PRAYER
Our Father, who art in heaven, hallowed be thy name. Thy kingdom come, thy will be done, on earth as it is in
heaven. Give us this day our daily bread, and forgive us our debts as we forgive our debtors. And lead us not into
temptation, but deliver us from evil. For thine is the kingdom, the power, and the glory, forever and ever. Amen.
WORSHIP IN SONG
CORPORATE PRAYER OF CONFESSION
All:
Heavenly Father, we confess that we have taken your presence for granted and have failed to follow where you
lead. We have found obedience too costly and neglected what you have called us to do. Rather than turning to you
in prayer, we have relied on our own strength and resolve. Forgive us through the precious blood of your Son,
Jesus Christ. Amen.
PRIVATE CONFESSION
ASSURANCE OF PARDON
1 John 1:9
If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just to forgive us our sins and to cleanse us from all
unrighteousness.
